The week before it came to an article on the form blog Hall of Femmes me. Now maybe you

Just the other week I was on a visit to our beautiful city. There I had the privilege to go to a release party of one, for me, much anticipated another manga book. A book about the history of letters for children, adolescents, adults another manga and all ages. I really appreciate this interesting designed ABC book, filled with fun illustrations of the letters in our everyday lives. Letter and ABC books is me at all heart. In fact, I've been a collector of Swedish typographical ABC books from the nineteenth century until today. So I probably have most of them. Or maybe not. For ABC biltokiga by Christian Madsen was so totally broken read, chewed another manga by my son, despite assiduous repairs, it finally got collected into a small stack of papers to be recycled. I think we worked and chewed us at least two copies.
The new book is called A, B, C and D all about and is written by Nina Ulmaja at Bonnier. It premiered on August 22. A small finger I had with the game, which sakgranskare. It is a book that I hope will be read, chewed and worked hard all Swedish children. So my advice to parents is: Read it, read it! Both for your sake and for your children or grandchildren.
The week before it came to an article on the form blog Hall of Femmes me. Now maybe you're not so eager to read about just me, but there's so much more. Several articles about interesting as people. So hurray for Samira Bouabana

and Angela Tillman, who runs the blog and also giving out small fine books on Oyster press about these amazing designers in our graphic industry.
Another relatively new book of letters is Just my Type by Simon Garfield as I have just recently finished reading. The book is funny, populist, easy to read but unfortunately it jumps dramatically between different theses in typeface another manga design industry and its history. It is well worth reading for pleasure would but, as I said, it is somewhat unstructured and messy in their analysis. It is okronologisk and omits much of the technology behind fonts and more of an Anglo-Saxon one perspektivt. You'll probably get more out of it if you read it after a few more substantial books in typhistoria. Otherwise there is a risk that you lose the thread. The great thing about the book is that it also takes up a relatively new styles, 2012 Headline, by Gareth Hague, for this year's Olympic Games in London. If Gareth Hague, you can read about here in the MyFonts newsletter.
At the end of the book, I still hint of Mr. Garfield on Pentagrams quiz> What type are you? >. With only four questions, you get a personality analysis and assigned a font that visualizes your personality. Since I am, after all, is estimated to be one in the crowd, so I was happy when I got the same response as Simon.
